Has anyone else ever encountered this? It’s brand new, I deleted my old Microsoft Office but it won’t allow me to type the Product Key in the line you would enter it but just makes like a banging sound.

Why Doesn’t The Product Key On The Bottom Of My Laptop Work For Microsoft Office?

I have a brand new HP laptop. whenever I open anything in Microsoft Office it asks me to enter the Product Key. I assumed it’s the one on the sticker on the bottom of my laptop so I entered it but it keeps saying it’s incorrect. Why?

Below the procedure I have done:
First time I activate the Windows product with use Product Key shown in Sticker Notebook, and Windows was working and activated now.to activate Microsoft Office 2007, I go to Microsoft Office 2007 60 days trial activation. I used Product Key shown in Sticker Notebook but it is not working. Then I go and use on line Product Key, it was working but only trial then convert it to fully product by used product key on line still the same trial was shown.I got confuse on this matter, which procedure I have missed or can you tell me the exact procedure to activate fully product?

Open Office And Star Office. They Appear To Be Connected. Are They The Same Product Under A Different Badge?

I’ve been looking into viable alternatives for MS Office and have stumbled across both Star Office and Open Office.
Both appear to have distinctly different branding, suggesting they’re both different products.
But when you look on their websites, they both mention each other and provide links to each others websites.
Is this like the whole Linux thing whereby lots of different companies distribute the same open source Linux kernel with their own different wrapping and eye-candy?
So both companies would be distributing the same bare-bones office suite, just with their own unique GUI applied to it?
