I was offered an opportunity to handle the west coast operations. It is to entail west coast sales and marketing/branding. The company is small but growing. I understand that my marketing/branding solutions would assist in creating a brand identity. What is a good offer for this position. I was thinking 30% commission. There is no salary involved… straight commission. Should i offer my marketing services on the side? Should there be increases on top of the 30% based on exceeding goals? and how much would be fair? thanks guys/gals….

Saturday, July 11th, 2009I’ll be starting an online college soon that teaches game, simulation & AI programing, design & production. My current computer can’t handle that kind of media & I need one that can. I’d like the computer to be able to run the programs I’ll be taught to use to create my own little games here & there just for my own benefit (& my portfolios). But I want to also be able to run a few games that I enjoy playing (like the sims/sims2, tycoon games & civ games. I’m not real keen on the idea of having Vista or a Dell, I’ve had really bad luck with dells. But I’m not sure whether to go with a desktop (which brand’s pkg?, or build by…?) & it’s ease to upgrade, or a laptop (which brands pkg?) it’s versitile & usable anywhere I want it (I’m disabled – sometimes go back to bed for heating pads on my back & joints). I’d appreciate thoughts & suggestions, we are on a budget so please keep that in mind. Thanks!
