Why Does “pro-life” Focus On Making Abortion Criminal?

Wednesday, September 9th, 2009

1. The name suggests something far broader than the political .
2. If had bothered to study their own strategy given global data, would notice it is ineffective in reducing rates. At that point, the title “pro-life” not only not fit the narrow , but also isn’t really concerned with being effective.
3. So the real result is asking that women that have abortions be branded as criminals and that it is the of filling more prisons that’s more important than eliminating . It might also result in more expensive abortions, meaning greater profits for doctors while those who cannot afford it might resort to more suicide attempts or clothes hanger abortions.
4. All this suggests that you not only don’t care about preserving life, but you also don’t care to learn why women seek abortions.
5. So why this ? What’s the real gain if you are not an investor in a private prison or thinking of profiting off of expensive illegal abortions?
