Maybe the Zip is not long enough ,so therefore it is a Fault in Workmanship. You should take them back to Shop for to be exchanged for New Trousers if not they should give you your Money back.If they are Stroppy with you Complain to Consumers Affairs and to Newspapers make a show of them if you do not get Satisfaction as they hate bad Publicity.

This is common with Dockers ….no need to fix no one seems to mind. The fix is to buy a different brand and try them on to see if any un-acceptable rise are present.
Sorry you had to spend 78 dollars on those but…. wear a skirt

Maybe you need a pair of pants with a little longer inseam. If they’re too long, you can have them hemmed up but at least they won’t ride up on you.

From what youve said,it sounds like your classic Zipper Buckling. It happens when you put your pants in the dryer. It also happens with jackets with zippers. The metal gets too hot and bends,or buckles. After it happens, there isn’t alot you can do,except from now on,hang dry your pants.Wash them in the washer, then hang them up so the zipper doesnt get worse.
    Good Luck!

I’m assuming this is not a desired look for yourself?? Try washing them several time and use some softener. They may just be “stiff” from being new.

I suggest that you take them to a tailor or seamstress for alteration.
