Chi is a brand name flat iron that costs upwards of $100 and it is a really good one. As a matter of fact I’m in the process of buying either a Chi flat iron or a Sedu.
My roommate had one and after using it one time I fell real hard for it and I have vowed not to ever use one of those cheap $15-$30 flat irons.
The only thing about a Chi is that it doesn’t have a temperature control setting, but its a ceramic flat iron that gets your hair silky smooth and helps eliminate frizz and flyaways.
I heard Sedu is great also but I’ve never tried one so I don’t know if I should stick with what I know is great or try someone else’s suggestions. I don’t want to waste $100…oh well, good luck on whatever you do! lol.

Yeah its CHI. And i think it stands for ceramic heat something but thats said to be the best and most expensive brand. I have a Maxius and its great and I’ve also heard good things about Hot Tools and Wigo

    Farouk is the brand.
CHI stands for Ceramic Hydration Interlink.
I LOVE my CHI flat iron. It heats up in seconds, and cuts my straightening time in half!
My hair even ends up silky and soft. Other straighteners leave it dry and brittle. Grr.
REMEMBER… FAROUK is the brand name. CHI is just the name of the flat iron the company manufactures.

Yeah CHI is a beauty product brand. The CHI flat iron is very good, it heats up very quickly, under 30 seconds. It’s not that expensive it’s around $100.00. You can’t use the flat iron on wet hair or you’ll hear a “sizzle” and that’s not good. That means it’s burning your hair! Good luck =]
