A professional curling iron will get hotter and stay hotter. It does make a big difference. I use a large tourmaline curling iron by Hot Tools which I got on special for about $60. I have a friend that sells irons. If you know what size you want I’d be glad to ask her to check prices and even purchase one for you. If interested reply to pnielsen911@sbcglobal.net.
try a Jilbere or Conair Infiniti there ceramic so it is better for the hair they should be $20..00 and up try sally beauty supply for the jilbere and wal-mart for the conair.
You always get what you pay for. Try Chi, Jilbere, or Sedu. Prices vary, with Chi usually close to $100.
depends if you use them a lot then invest in a better curling iron
if you only have it for the odd parties or whatever, then cheap will probably suffice.
the diff is that pricier ones heat up quicker and give better curl.
if you spend less you get less
Always remember the more you spend the better quality you get.
Price isn’t the determination of a good product. Believe me, I know, I used to sell electronics. Another good brand is Gold N Hot, they heat up quick and they have temperature settings. Also, you might want to try a ceramic curling iron, they make smoother curls. One brand I hate is Conair. I find that they don’t heat up high enough and all and fall apart quick. Go to Sally’s Beauty Supply and ask them what a good brand is. You will probably find one for about 20-30.
since you have already bought a cheap one, so you know the answer. It is better to buy an expensive one, cause it is more durable then the cheap one.
