Many clothing companies have web sites containing their addresses, phone numbers, and fax numbers. Choose the companies you want to submit your designs to, get their addresses from their web sites, mail your designs; or, call to find out what their policy is on submitting designs.
Be sure you make copies of your designs before sending. You may even consider consulting an attorney before you submit your designs, just to make sure your integrity and creativity are protected.
In the event you can’t afford a licensed attorney, consider contacting a college or university’s law school. Professors might be amenable to offering you free advice.
First things first! Never ever submit things without back yourself up. By doing it without you are giving up your hard earned work for free.
Them down and get them copied and send them copied versions with dates and signatures or even ink spots on the paper, this protects you as the conveivor of this product or goods.
Second don’t sell yourself short. Do leg work- alot of it! Don’t take no’s as a road block see them as a leg up and move on to the next one. Most will say we have are own design staff.
