The expensive ones straighten your hair really fast. I own a CHI and it works excellent and it was totally worth the price. My friend owns a Sedu and she said it works great too. The difference would be the speed it straightens. I used to have a Hot Tools but one side stopped working after awhile. The Hot Tools are ok for about 6 months and then they begin to slow down. It depends on how much you use it. I use mine 5 times a week and it works as well as it did since i bought it. The CHI also has a one year warranty.
The expensive ones really do work better, trust me…
No comparison. To get the same effect with a cheap flat iron as a high quality one, you need to spend triple the amount of time, and even then it doesn’t look the same. Spend the extra bit of money, and buy the good one. Chi works well , as well as Babyliss
expensive ones are better i hav e thick wavy/curly hair and i used to own conair revoln remington they all dryed my hair and didnt last long and i bought in ISO straightner cost me 99 bucks tottally worth it
Just buy what you can afford. You should also buy a flat iron that let’s you change the level of the heat the highest is for hair that’s hard to straighten and the lowest is for when your hair is easy to straighten.
buy a cheap flat iron. expensive ones do the exact same thing as cheap ones. you can turn the heat up high on the cheap ones, just like you can on the expensive ones. no difference. i bought my straightner at cvs for real cheap, and it works great
my sister owns her own salon and she says that the more expensive ‘ceramic’ staighteners are what one wants to buy vs the more inexpensive ‘metal’ straighteners which fry the hair. she said if you want a professional looking straight do (esp if you have curly hair), invest in the ceramic product that costs more but will not damage your hair.
I gotta say there is a big difference, the chi is far better than the Revlon one i had. It doesnt damage it as much and it stays straight waaay longer. I think its better to dish out the cash for a good one thatll last you a long time than to get a cheap one.
cheap. either way it dmages your hair.
