Oh, I am so sorry! It isnt fun to be like that….My moter has had the same issues all through childhood up to now. She hasn’t been able to use any lotion, moisturizer, or anything else…except for one product. It is called Marcelle, and it is a hypoallergenic company that sells cleansers, lotions, moisturzers, you name it. My mom can use all of their products and doesn’t have a single reaction. I have provided the link below, so you can check it out. It s a Canadian-based company. You buy their prodcts off of the internet, but sometimes they have specials since they can be a little bit pricey. Good Luck and I hope Marcelle works for you!http://www.marcelle.com/

Salicyclic acid (aka 2-hydroxybenzoic acid) is the WORST thing to put on!
It’s used for the treatment of acne, psoriasis, calluses, corns, keratosis pilaris, and warts. It works by causing the cells of the skin to come off easier, hence it doesn’t allow acne causing dirt to stay in your pores -but basically it causes your skin to exfoliate itself! This should be used VERY carefully by people with sensitive skin!
I have insanely sensitive skin too, but people have different allergies and what works for me might be very wrong for you. have you tried the brands clinique, organics, and living nature? I agree with the other person that a trip to a dermatoloist might be the best place to start, especially after seeing that you tried salicyclic acid makes me think that you have a lot of learning to do when it comes to skin agravators.
    hope this helps!

Jane Iredale makeup! I LOVE their Liquid Minerals foundation. This is not just makeup- its skin care. They are mostly sold in salons and spas, but I buy it on Ebay cuz its cheaper.
I have sensitive skin, and this works wonders for me.
I wash my face with J/A/S/O/N organics Lavender face & hand soap (found at Walgreens)
Clinique Moisture on-line (its THE best i’ve ever used!!)
    Liquid Minerals foundation (www.JaneIredale.com)
FYI Salicyllic acid wil not numb your skin. It is an acid that encourages your skin cells to shed creating irritation for sensative skin.

You should go to a dermatologist. Maybe they can detect what is wrong.
