If you have a myspace account go to Kat Von D’s husband Olivers page and he has all kinds of info on there that can help you. I used his methods on my last tat and it looks sooo much better than the other ones I have. Good luck and enjoy your new ink
use a good sunscreen when it is not covered. lots of lotion
i got a orange tiger on my bk an i used Vaseline for the 1st wk after ad it dun as that’s wot i wr told an iv ad it dun bout 4 yrs its fine, but ull prob have to get it recoloured every few yrs I’m afraid, i think UV ink lasts a few yrs
when i got mine (and it has a lot of colors), the first month i washed it with antibacterial soap and didn’t dry it with a towel, ’cause towels have dead skin cells which could affect your tattoo. instead, dry it with paper towel.
the first 3 days, you’ll have to wash it a least 3 times daily. after doing so, put a thin layer of A+D on it (but only for the first 3 days, this is a strong product). after the 3rd day, just use a skin cream that has vitamin A and E. i got mine 5 years ago and to this day i still apply cream to it everyday, and the colors are just as bright as the first month.
regarding the ink, most of it are vegetable ink which has minerals and other stuff we have on our skin, so don’t worry much about that. just make sure you find an artist who can make your design exactly as you want it. i you take care of your tattoo, you’ll never regret having it.
use SUNBLOCK whenever you go outside
